To maintain a safe and secure environment, all volunteers must complete the required background checks in accordance with River East Transcona School Division process and provincial regulations.

Volunteers are required to:

1. Complete a Child Abuse Registry (CAR) at the school office annually.   Please be advised that checks can take up to 8 weeks to clear.
2. Provide the school office with a current, clear, Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector).  These are valid for two years.  Winnipeg residents can apply online through the Winnipeg Police Service website at .  For Manitobans living outside of Winnipeg, visit your local RCMP detachment.

We appreciate our volunteers.  Thank you for following this protocol to keep our school safe and secure.
